Cold intensifies in MP
Bhopal, Dec 11 (UNI) Owing to rainfall and chilly winds sweeping northern India, cold conditions intensified in Madhya Pradesh with mercury dipping across the state by two-three degrees.
Meteorological department spokesperson said Ujjain recorded lowest temperature last night with mercury plummeting to nine degrees Celsius.
Cold winds lashed the state capital last night. A maximum temperature of 24.6 deg C, five notches below the temperature on Sunday, was recorded.
However, minimum temperature was 13.7 deg C, three notches above.
Mercury dipped in Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur recording 24.9, 23.2 and 27.4 degs C respectively.
