Warrant against Boney Kapoor

Indore, Dec 9 (UNI) A local court has issued an arrest warrant against film producer Boney Kapoor in a cheque bounce case.

Judicial Magistrate R K Batham issued the warrant yesterday on a plea by one Mahendra Singh Bedi. Earlier, Kapoor was summoned before the bench.

Mr Bedi provided a loan of Rs five lakh to Kapoor last year for producing a film starring Salman Khan. Kapoor repaid the loan by a cheque but it bounced.

The next date of hearing is January 5, 2007.
