Three killed in car bomb blast in Iraq's Mosul

MOSUL, Iraq, Dec 9 (Reuters) At least three people were killed and three wounded when a car bomb exploded in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, police said.

The police said all those killed were civilians.

Mosul, 390 km north of Baghdad is an ethnically mixed city of Sunni Arabs and Kurds.

Iraqi security forces are frequently attacked by car and roadside bombs in Mosul.
