Three killed in accident

Chennai, Dec 9 (UNI) Three persons were killed on the spot and another injured when a car in which they were travelling collided with a State Transport Corporation bus at Seekanangkuppam village on the East Coast Road here today.

Police said the car was proceeding to Pondicherry from here while the bus was coming in the opposite direction when the mishap occurred.

The car driver lost his control, when he attempted to over take a vehicle, resulting in the collision.

The injured person was rushed to Government Medical College hospital at Chengalpattu, where his condition was said to be critical, police added.
