Tally Solutions to expand business in Gulf investing 60 mln dirham

Dubai, Dec 9 (UNI) Tally Solutions, Indian accounting software firm, has said it plans to invest more than 60 million dirham over the next five years to enlarge its business operations in the Gulf region.

''Countries such as the UAE and Qatar are experiencing stupendous growth which the company wants to tap,'' company's Global Product Business President Ms Rokiah Ahamed said.

Having achieved dominance in the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries' small-business accounting software market, the company is now launching itself into the global stage as a multi-product brand, she said.

There are 1,30,000 small and medium businesses in the West Asia where the PC penetration is also increasing along with an upsurge in the need to have business accounting and inventory software.
