Tally Solutions to expand biz in Gulf region

Dubai, Dec 9: Tally Solutions, Indian accounting software firm,has said it plans to invest more than 60 million dirham over the nextfive years to enlarge its business operations in the Gulf region.

''Countries such as the UAE and Qatar are experiencing stupendousgrowth which the company wants to tap,'' company's Global ProductBusiness President Ms Rokiah Ahamed said.

Having achieved dominance in the six-nation Gulf CooperationCouncil (GCC) countries' small-business accounting software market, thecompany is now launching itself into the global stage as amulti-product brand, she said.

There are 1,30,000 small and medium businesses in the West Asiawhere the PC penetration is also increasing along with an upsurge inthe need to have business accounting and inventory software.
