Speaker concerned over corruption charges against MLAs, MPs
Asansol, Dec 09 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee today said corruption charges against the MPs and MLAs are on rise.
Inaugurating an eye hospital of Lions Club here today, Mr Chatterjee expressed concern over the increasing number of corruption charges against the people's representatives.
Speaking about the hospital, Chairman of the newly built eye hospital Dr Jitendra Kumar Khandewal informed that the Below Poverty line (BPL) people, who were blind, would get treatement free of cost.
The Speaker also inaigurated a vocational training school for the physically challenged and the year-long centenary Asansol Bar (Court) in the outskirts of Asansol town.
