Sonia happy with photo-finish victory in Chamundeshwari

New Delhi, Dec 9 (UNI) Congress President Sonia Gandhi today expressed her happiness over the victory of the party nominee in the recently concluded Chamundeshwari Assembly bypolls.

She expressed her reaction during the brief interaction with senior Congress leaders from Karnataka N Dharam Singh, M Mallikarjuna Kharge and H K Patil who called her to greet on occassion of her 60th birth day.

Former Deputy Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had won the seat in a photo-finish contest by a margin of 257 votes, defeating his former party nominee in the bypoll.
