Six persons held for hurling bomb at religious place

Chennai, Dec 9 (UNI) Police today arrested six persons in connection with yesterday's incident in which some unidentified miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at 'Ayodhya Mandapam', a religious discourse centre, at busy West Mambalam in the city, causing injuries to a few.

Police said the arrested were Thapasu Kumar (42), Velu (33), Balaiyan (35), Muthu (37), Yuvaraj (20) and Senthil Kumar (35).

Cases have been registered against them under various sections of the IPC and investigations are on, they added.
