Scribes condemn police lathies on journalists

Kolkata, Dec 9 (UNI) The Calcutta Sports Journalists Club and Indian journalists Association today condemns the assult on journalists by policemen at Sheoraphuli (Hooghly district) on Friday.

They in separate statement appealed to the West Bengal Government to protect the rigts of the scribes and ensure proper working conditions to enable them carry out their duties without any fear of persecution.
