RJD demands inquiry against land scam

Ranchi, Dec 9 (UNI) Former Land Revenue Minister of Bihar and senior RJD leader Ramai Ram today demanded an inquiury over alleged land scam involving country's leading industrial house Tata.

Talking to newsmen here, Mr Ram said in undivided Bihar he had unravelled a land scam in which the leading industrial house Tata had allotted its leased land, given by the state government, to someone else.

Mr Ram said violating all the norms the Tatas had given that piece of land to Lafarge Cement group and the matter was now with the judiciary.

He said later the inquiry file was closed by the Jharkhand government.

Mr Ram said he would meet Chief Minister Madhu Koda and ask him to reopen the inquiry file.
