Paint unit in TN gutted

Chennai, Dec 9 (UNI) A fire broke out in a private paint making unit at Chinnandimadam near suburban Kondingayur this evening.

Fire service sources said fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the blaze put out after an hour-long battle.

The loss was estimated to run into several lakhs. The cause of the fire was under investigation. However, no causalties were reported.
