Magisterial probe into police firing

Chhattarpur(MP), Dec 9 (UNI) A magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the police firing at Ganeshpura village in this district on the night of December 7, in which two persons were injured.

Nougaon SDM P N Yadav will conduct the inquiry, District Collector Ajatshatru said.

Police opened fire as the villagers resisted arrest of an absconding criminal Ramesh Yadav at the village injuring Lochan Singh and his 11-year-old daughter Mainda. The girl, whose condition was reported to be serious, was later referred to Gwalior Medical College Hospital.
