Jharkhand vs Asom in men, Manipur vs Asom in women handball final

Kolkata, Dec 9 (UNI) Jharkhand and Asom moved into the final of the mens' section and Manipur and Asom advanced to last two in womens' section at the East Zone Handball championship of its 11th edition today.

Jharkhand beat Orissa (30-26), while Asom edged past fighting Manipur (19-16) in the men section.

In Women Semifinals, Manipur easily beat Orissa (14-3), Asom defeated West Bengal (19-08).

Manipur and Orissa take on each other for third spot in men section and hosts Bengal and Orissa will fight out for same spot in the matches tomorrow.

The final matches will also be held tomorrow.
