Investment one-fourth of proposals in MP

Bhopal, Dec 9 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh has attracted investment proposals totalling over Rs one lakh crore in the past three years, but investment remained one-fourth to the tune of Rs 28,000 crore.

Besides, about Rs 10,000 crore was invested in Bina refinery in Sagar district, official sources said.

About Rs 5500 crore was invested in the field of agro-food processing, Rs 4800 crore in textile, Rs 1600 crore in automobile industry and Rs 350 crore in pharmaceutical chemicals, while investment proposals in the past three years totalled Rs 1,00,513 crore.
