Engineers arrested for committing irregularities

Patna, Dec 9: Vigilance Bureau arrested two engineers for committing financial irregularities in road construction under food for work scheme.

ADG, Vigilance, Neelmani said here yesterday that assistant engineer Ashish Kumar Sinha and junior engineer Kedar Prasad Suman posted at Lakhisarai in the Rural Development department were found guilty of financial irregularities.

Another engineer, accused of irregualrity, was absconding.

The arrested engineers were being brought to Patna for interrogation.
