The 11 persons, which included manpower racketeers, their sub agents and their collaborative partners or passengers who were wanted for the last several years in connection with passport and visa forgery cases, were arrested by the IGI airport units of the Delhi police after many raids in Mehsana, Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad districts of Gujarat over the last one month.

The operations were launched after establishing well coordinated and cooperative participation of the Gujarat police.

Police said the accused persons were brought to Delhi this morning. They said the police raids had put agents operating in these areas on the run and forced them to close down their criminal activities.
