Body of BIT student recovered

Ranchi, Dec 9 (UNI) Police today recovered the body of a Birsa Institute of Technology student, who drowned in the Dassam waterfalls yesterday.

The seventh semester computer science and engineering student, Abhishek Mishra, along with his friends, including daughter of Railway Minister, Ragini, went to the Dassam falls under Bundu Police station for picnic where he drowned.

Senior Suprintendent of Police Naresh Kumar Singh told UNI that the body was recovered at about 1330 hrs today and later on, handed over to his parents after the post-mortem.

Abhishek's father Subhash Chandra Mishra, a doctor at Ram Manohar Lohia hospital, was informed about the incident.
