Auto-complex planned in Alwar district

Jaipur, Dec 9 (UNI) Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation is planning to set up an auto-complex in Alwar district of Rajasthan.

According to Deputy General Manager Rajen Kapoor, Rajasthan wants to cash in on its proximity to Gurgaon which has come un as an 'auto hub' of northern India.

He said industrial units have been looking for alternative places close to Gurgaon to set up their units due to the paucity of land and suitable facilities in Gurgaon.

Rajasthan Alwer district have good potential for attracting such industrial units to set up their base in the district close on the Delhi-jaipur national Highway. He said the corporation has appointed the Tata Management Strategic Group as advisor.

He said RIICO expects to attract an investment of about Rs 1000 crore by the auto componets manufacturing units in the complex.

RIICO would make aviable the basic infrasrcutre for the industrial units excusively for the auto components manufacturers in the auto complex.
