At least one Briton killed in Saudi coach crash
LONDON, Dec 9 (Reuters) At least one British tourist was killed and several others were injured in a coach crash in Saudi Arabia today, Britain's Foreign Office said.
The accident happened about 90 km (55 miles) north of the capital Riyadh, a Foreign Office spokeswoman in London said.
No more details of the crash or those hurt were immediately available.
Around 125,000 Britons visit Saudi Arabia each year for the Muslim haj and umra pilgrimages in the holy city of Mecca.
Another 20,000 British expatriates live there.
The Foreign Office warns visitors of a ''high threat of terrorism'' in Saudi Arabia but does not advise people against travelling there.
