Activists organise programme on eve of Human Rights Day

Ahmedabad, Dec 9 (UNI) On the eve of Human Rights Day, the Movement for Secular Democracy (MSD) organised a programme here in the evening marked by street plays, slogans and songs.

Activists from AWAG, Prashant, Sahyog, Sanchetna, Janpath, PUCL, Sarvoday Mandal and others participated in the event where they expressed their concern on issues including the law and order in the State, riot-victims still waiting for compensation, pending rehabilitation work for quake victims, the issue of special economic zone, privatisation and commercialisation of all basic services and Surat floods.
