3 villagers abducted in Shahjahanpur

Shahjahanpur, Dec 9 (UNI) Three villagers were abducted by unidentified gunmen here late last night, police today said.

Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Tyagi said about 14 unidentified gunmen kidnapped Ram Bharose, Raivari, Ved Pal, Raju and Narveer Dhimar from their farm in Tatrabad village under Gathia Rangeen police station area.

They however, released Raju and Dhimar after sometime.

Meanwhile, Station Officer (SO) R B Singh has been suspended.

A search was on to trace the accused.
