25 girl students taken ill after consuming Jatropha fruits

Jind, Dec 9 (UNI) At least 25 girl students of Navodaya Vidyalaya were taken ill after consuming Jatropha fruits at village Khunga in the district last night.

School Vice-Principal Mamta Sharma said all the hostel students were admitted to the civil hospital after they complaint of nausea and vomiting.

Later, 19 students were discharged from the hospital after preliminary medical treatment, she said.

The remaining six students, whose condition was stated to be serious, were discharged from the hospital this evening.
