Work on delimitation before 2007: CEC

Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, Dec 8 (UNI) Chief Election Commissioner N Gopalasamy today said the work on delimitation of Parliamentary constituencies will be completed before the 2007 end.

Speaking to reporters here, Mr Gopalasamy said polling booths will be set up for every 1,200 to 1,500 voters to enable them to exercise their franchise.

He also said the Reserve Constituencies will be re-organised on the basis of Dalit population.
