Sunita, Meeta bag 3 gold each, 2 new meet records in national blind
New Delhi, Dec 8 (UNI) M Sunita of Manipur and Meeta Bajraj of Jharkhand shone on day four of the 15th National Sports Meet for the Blind, winning three gold medals apiece today.
Sunita won the titles in javelin, shot put and discus in women's B-1 category, while Meeta topped the charts in the same events in women's B-2 category.
Rajasthan's Akmbalal Gujar won the 5000m gold in men B-2 section with a new meet record of 21:00:98, Punjab's Mandeep Singh too created a new meet record in 800m, clocking 2:36:37s in the men B-1 category.
