Sun Micro Systems launches operation in Vizag

Visakhapatnam, Dec 8: To tap domestic market, Sun Micro Systems today launched an operation centre here in tie-up with Locuz Enterprises Solutions Limited.

Addressing a press conference, Sun Micro Systems India South Regional Director Ganesh Mahabala said the company would focus on extending its high end products like servers and advanced micro devices to a large customer base in the region.

It would soon unveil an expansion plan to cater to the customers in tier I and tier II cities in the country.

He said the new centre would focus on the entire Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

The company was aiming to achieve another 15 per cent more market share during 2006-07, he added.
