Shivraj's is a puppet govt: Uma
Jabalpur, Dec 8 (UNI) Bharatiya Jan Shakti (BJS) Founder-President and former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Uma Bharti today alleged that Shivraj Singh Chouhan regime was a ''puppet government'' in the hands of criminals and the corrupt.
''There is unimpeachable evidence of the corruption indulged in by the Bharatiya Janata Party regime over the past year. It exceeds the corruption during five decades of Congress rule at the Centre.
Mr Chouhan is a rubber stamp and has lost the confidence of the MLAs. He enjoys only minority support in the legislature party,'' the firebrand leader told mediapersons here.
Expressing satisfaction on the BJS performance during bypolls to the Vidisha Lok Sabha constituency, besides the assembly constituencies of Malehra and Pandhana, Ms Bharti said, ''taking a lesson from these hustings, the BJS workers have learnt how to strengthen election management. Our next target is the 2008 Vidhan Sabha poll. The next government will be formed by the BJS,'' she added.
Accusing the stat government of rigging the Malehra and Pandhana hustings, besides misusing power, the sanyasin said that the teeming crowds at her meetings were proof that the masses were with her party.
