Shekhawat heads IIPA for third term

New Delhi, Dec 8 (UNI) Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat has been unanimously elected for the third 2-year term as President of Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA).

The Vice President Secretariat said today Mr Shekhawat had accepted the post after the IIPA Chairman and Karnataka Governor wrote a letter to him recently requesting him to head the Institute and provide his able guidance and patronage.

Mr Shekhawat was re-elected unopposed for the third term at the General Body meeting of the Institute on October 28. He is heading the Institute since 2002.
