Satellite channels on cells

Mumbai, Dec 8: After launching an alliance with Kingfisher Airlines for making available a bouquet of news and entertainment channels through dish tv for the Airlines passangers, Zee Group Chairman Subhash Chandra today announced that satellite channel services will also be made available on cellular telephones and cars from February 2007.

''We are launching satellite services on mobile phones in the sense that you can have the same even in the cars also,'' he told the media after announcing the tie-up with Kingfisher Airlines.

All aircraft of Kingfisher Airlines will be retrofitted with dishtv for telecast of live news and entertainment to passangers.
