RR jawan found dead in Rajouri

Jammu, Dec 8 (UNI) A Rashtriya Rifles (RR) jawan was found dead under mysterious circumstances near army camp at Chingus area of bordering Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, sources said here today.

Army jawan, Subhash Chander of 21 RR, was found dead at an isolated place in the army camp at Chingus area yesterday, intelligence sources said.

The army authorities had approached the station house officer (SHO) of the concerned police station, Rajouri, for no objection certificate stating it as a ''natural death'' of jawan.

''The army was asked to give it (cause of death) in writing, but they have not turned up yet,'' SHO, Rajouri, said when contacted on phone.
