Police confiscate 40 CDs for verification
Kochi, Dec 8 (UNI) The city police raided an audio-video studio, owned by the wife of a senior IPS officer and confiscated 40 CDs of Malayalam and Tamil films for verification today.
A police team headed by City Police Commissioner P Vijayan conducted the raids at the studio following information that the studio was circulating pirated CDs to the general public.
Police said the authenticity of the CDs could be known only after further verification.
Meanwhile, at a press meet here, the Kerala Film Producers Association said they would boycott the studio if the CDs confiscated were found to be pirated.
