NCDEX records trade worth Rs 3,504 crore

Mumbai, Dec 8 (UNI) As many as 2,849 users of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in trading worth Rs 3,504 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 85,860 trades put through by them. Active trades were in guarseeds, chana, pepper, urad desi, soybean and refined soy oil, a NCDEX release said.

Yesterday, about 270 members had participated in trading and put through more than 1,11,640 trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 2330 hrs was Rs 3,840 crore (one way).

Active trades were in guarseed, chana, pepper, refined soy oil, silver and gold, the release added.
