MRTPC receives complaints against leading foreign banks

New Delhi, Dec 8 (UNI) Leading foreign banks have received notice from the Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Commission (MRTPC) on the ground of indulging in ''fraud and false promises''.

Complaints were received by MRTPC from consumers against leading banks such as Citibank, Bank of America, Standard Chartered Bank and ABN Amro Bank, Company Affairs Minister Prem Chand Gupta informed the Lok Sabha in a written reply today.
