Mizoram to woo investments: Zoramthanga
Aizawl, Dec 8 (UNI) Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga today said today the state has huge potential to woo investments.
Talking to mediapersons in the inaugural ceremony of a mall, he said the shopping mall was built with huge investments from various companies.
''An LPG bottling plant at a cost of Rs 13 crore was set up in the state to meet the increasing demand of fuel, which is equipped with latest machinery and capacity of the plant is 600 million tonnes, he stated.
The Chief Minister said Mizoram has the potential for oil and gas sector and exploration was on.
Recognising the growth potential of Information Technology, he advocated development in IT and ITeS and its implications in other areas like e-governance, education, industry, health, rural development, agriculture, tourism.
