Minor administrative reshuffle in Bihar

Patna, Dec 8 (UNI) Bihar Government today effected a minor administrative reshuffle wherein eight IAS officers, including four District Magistrates, were transferred from their present posts.

A notification from Personnel and Administrative Reforms department said four districts - Sheikhpura, Kishanganj, Jehanabad and Samastipur - will have new District Magistrates - Ms Pratima Satish Kumar Verma, Shraband M, Sanjay Kumar Agarwal and Shravan Kumar respectively.

Present District Magistrate of Jehanabad Avdhesh Singh had been transferred as Director of Panchayati Raj, while Kishanganj District Magistrate Dayanand Prasad had been asked to join as Additional Secretary in Food and Civil Supplies department.

Samastipur District Magistrate Maheswar Prasad Singh had been shifted to Personnel department and Director of Panchayati Raj Bhrigunath Dwivedi had been asked to join the Education department as Additional Secretary.

Sheikhpura District Magistrate Shravan Kumar had been transferred to Samastipur in the same capacity since the present incumbent had been shifted to state headquarters.
