I am a victim of attrocities and political vendetta: Sidhu
Ajitwal, Moga, Dec 8 (UNI) Former BJP MP Navjot Singh Sidhu today delivering an emotional and witty speech at the SAD-BJP rally here today reiterated his resolve to continue to wage political war against Chief Minister Amarinder Singh but refrained from making any reference about his conviction in an murder case.
Describing himself as a ''victim of atrocities and political vendetta'' from Capt Singh, the cricketer-turned-politician said he would not submit before ''maharaja'' and would continue his political struggle with blessings from leaders like Mr L K Advani, Mr Rajnath Singh, Mr Parkash Singh Badal and Mr Arun Jaitley.
He said that the Chief Minister did nothing for the state and its people but only misled them with his fake claims for development, and encouraged corruption in public life.
However, Mr Sidhu did not utter a word about his conviction by the Punjab and Haryana High Court or about future course of action in this case.
