DK activists vandalise idol

Erode, Tamil Nadu, Dec 8 (UNI) An idol of a Hindu God was vandalised today allegedly by Dravidar Kazhagam activists to protest against the desecration of Periyar's statue in Srirangam.

Police sources said the activists shouting slogan entered a place of worship housing the idol and damaged the idol.They also attacked the priest before escaping from the scene.
