Criminals involved in luggage theft arrested

New Delhi, Dec 8 (UNI) Police today claimed to have busted a gang of criminals involved in luggage theft of train and bus passengers with the arrest of three people from North West Delhi.

Salauddin (28), Mohammad Khalik (29) and Mohammad Badrul (21) were arrested from Haidar Pur Village, Outer Ring Road, on December 5.

The gang members used to offer biscuits or other eatables laced with drugs or sedatives to the passengers and then steal their belongings.

Police recovered three button knives from them.
