CPI(Maoist) arrested

Bokaro, Dec 8 (UNI) A CPI(Maoist) rebel was arrested from Gomia in this district of Jharkhand.

Superintendent of Police Manvinder Singh Bhatia here said, acting on a tip off, security forces nabbed the rebel, Jagdish Mahto from Hurlunga village.

Mr Singh said the ultra was an accused in about 14 criminal cases including murder and extremists' operations. He was also a member of a self-styled area commander Duryodhana gang.
