CM praises Army's support to state

Hyderabad, Dec 8 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today praised the Army for its support and assistance during natural and other calamities in the state.

Participating in the annual Civil-Military Liasion Conference 2006 organised here, the Chief Minister assured his full support and assistance to the military establishment. He directed the state Civil Officials to look into the problems of the defence personnel sympathetically.

Expressing gratitude to the state government for supporting the Army, General Officer Commanding D S C Verma urged the Chief Minister to look into the genuine concerns and welfare of the service personnel in the state and support for the forthcoming Military World Games to be held in October 2007 in the city, a press release said.
