Borsad police seize 10,000 kg of jaggery

Anand, Dec 8: Police raided a godown of Amarnath Traders at Borsad, 18 km from here, yesterday night and seized 10,000 kg of jaggery worth Rs one lakh.

A sample of the jaggery has been sent for testing and the godown has been sealed, police said.

The raid was jointly carried out by Borsad police and teams from SFL and mamlatdar office.
