Bomb hoax call creates scare in Surat

Surat, Dec 8 (UNI) A hoax call received the city police control room, issuing bomb threat at District and Sessions Court here in Athwa lines, created a scare.

Following the threat, the bomb squad along with dogs were called to conduct a search, police said.

''We were informed that the city police control room received a call in the afternoon, saying that a bomb was planted in the court premises. However, the search did not find anything'', said a police officer.
