BMS affiliated banking unions not to join Dec 14 banking strike

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Dec 8 (UNI) Members of Bharatiya Majdoor Sangh (BMS) affiliated National Organisation of Bank Workers and National Organisation of Banking Officers (NOBO) will not join the proposed nationwide strike called by banking employees unions affiliated to the Left parties on December 14, the NOBW said in a release here today.

In a statement issued here today, National Organising Secretary of the NOBW Dinesh Kulkarni said that the several central employees unions will not participate in the December 14 banking strike called by the banking unions affiliated to the left parties.

Mr Kulkarni further said that the proposed strike call was also not supported by the United Forum of Bank Unions, the lead union of unions in Banking Industry.
