Chennai, Dec 8: Attrix Technology, the Singapore-based distributors of wireless and telecom network products, has launched a new suite of integrated IT solutions, designed to meet the present and future business needs.

Mr A C Arunan, Channel Sales Director Attrix Technology India, and Head of the Distribution office in Chennai told reporters here that the suite contained five new types of products for a range of network solutions to cater to the growing Indian market.

Explaining on the suite of IT products being introduced, he said the products BelAir networks, Cablefree Solutions, Exinda networks, Aethra Systems and Ingate Systems.

While BelAir and Cablefree were from wireless category, Ingate and Exinda were types of telecom networks, and Aethra would be used for IP applications.

"We are here in Chennai to develop the market for wireless and network products in India, impart technical know-how to our channel partners to service these products, understand the problems of the clients and address them effectively,' he added.

Announcing setting up of its Chennai office, which would focus on the growing market for its range of infocomm solutions in India, Mr Lee Chee Leong, General Manager, Attrix, said the Chennai office would be headed by Mr Arunan.

"Last year, we forayed into China and now we will begin operations in India with our distribution office in Chennai", he added.

Set up in early 2003, Attrix has been growing at a rapid pace in the ASEAN region, especially in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines, with focus on three categories of products -- wireless networks; control, access and security infrastructure; and IP (internet protocol) based telephony, including video-conferencing.

Mr Lee said the decision to foray into India was taken after recent studies have indicated a robust market for WiMax and IP convergence solutions in India.

"At present Attrix has four channel partners in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai and in the next six months we will be expanding our network of partners and testing the working of our Proof of Concept (PoC) with our big clients in India," Mr Arunan said and added that the company was looking a revenue of Rs 10 to 20 crores in 2007-08 from the new products.
