Appeasing claims Rohini Cup

Bangalore, Dec 8 (UNI) Hot favourite "Appeasing" (C Alford up) won the Rohini Cup, the main event of the races held here today.

The winner is owned by Mr D Khaitan representing Soom Stud Farm Pvt Ltd., and trained by Darius Byramji.

Trainer Darius Byramji had a treble while jockey C Alford had a brace.

Only two favourites obliged in a card of seven events however eight races cancelled due to punters resorted to violent.
