ACB unearths Rs 60 lakh assets from official

Hyderabad, Dec 8 (UNI) Sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) today conducted simultaneous raids on the houses of Warangal District Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer (CEO) S Rajaiah and unearthed disproportionate assets worth Rs 60 lakh.

The assets comprised nine plots and one flat in the capital,four houses at Karimnagar and Hanumakonda, Rs one lakh worth gold ornaments, Rs 35,000 cash and bonds worth Rs 2.33 lakh and bank balance worth Rs 13 lakh.

The accused was arrested. He would be produced before Special Judge for ACB Cases here, a press release said.
