Lok Sabha adjourned on Babri Masjid issue

New Delhi, Dec 6: The Lok Sabha was adjourned following uproar by the BJP, Shiv Sena and their allies in favour ofdestruction of the Babri Masjid and the Congress and Left partiesopposing it on 14th anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition daytoday.

As soon as the House assembled in the morning to take up theQuestion Hour, the BJP and Shiv Sena members got up waiving placardswritten ''Jai Shree Ram... Mandir Vahi Banayenge'' (Mandir will beconstructed there at the site of Babri Masjid) and ''Afzal ko fansido'' (Hang Afzal).

The Conggress, SP, Left and other parties opposed the NDA partiesvehemently which led to pendemonium, forcing Speaker Somnath Chatterjeeto adjnourn the House till 1200 noon.
