Two arrested for murdering a student

Puducherry, Dec 5 (UNI) Two persons were arrested in connection with the murder of an eleventh standard student at Thilaspet recently.

Police said one Sundaram and his friend Shankar were arrested on Sunday.

The body of the student Venkatesh (16) was found inside a sack thrown into the Ossudu Lake on October 26.

Sundaram is the younger brother of Venkatesh's father.

He was being interrogated, police added.
