Temperature continues to be above normal, rain in some areas

Jaipur, Dec 5 (UNI) The temperature in Rajasthan has reported an average increase of 6-7 degrees Celsius above normal even as some areas experienced rain.

The weather office reported light rains in some areas of northern parts of the state.

Ganganagar reported 6.6 mm of rain while border district of Jaisalmer recorded 4.4 mm rain followed by Bikaner 3.7 and Churu 2.1 mm of rain.

Jodhpur, Bharatpur, Barmer districts of northen Rajasthan reported a light drizzle.

The state capital recorded a minimum temperature of 17 degrees Celsius 7 degrees above normal while Ajmer 18, Bharatpur 16, Dholpur 14, Pilani 15, Jhalawar 17, Kota 17, Rawatbhatta 16, Sawai Madhopur 17, Bundi 18, Udaipur 14, Barmer 15, Jaisalmer 13, Jodhpur 16, Bikaner 14, Churu 15 and Ganganagar 13 degrees Celsius.
