Swami Swaroopanand to be honoured

Narsinghpur(MP), Dec 5 (UNI) Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati will be honoured at Sadar Madia here on December 7 on the 34th anniversary of his becoming the Shankaracharya of Jyotishpeeth.

He was anointed as the Shankaracharya by other Shankaracharyas on December 7, 1973.

The Shankaracharya is scheduled to address a news conference on the felicitation day, according to organising committee in charge Ramchand Tamrakar.
